Kevin is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in finance. He received his Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation in 2003 and served as a Board Member for the Lafayette Education Foundation from 2005-2014.

After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Mary Ellen decided to pursue a second degree in Business Education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She then pursued a Master's in Business Administration there while teaching business and finance to high school students, which included Dave Ramsey's curriculum “Foundations in Personal Finance”. Having been certified to teach both business and math, and with ten years of teaching experience, she decided to transition into a new role, financial advising, which allows her to utilize her passion and love for numbers to help people in all areas of their financial lives.
As an educator, she was responsible for meeting the needs of her students. They deepened her belief in knowledge and growing as an individual. She wants you to understand every detail of your financial plan, no matter how long it takes, so you can make informed decisions.
